Mike Gordon talks Phish July 22, 2008 - Burlington Free Press By Brent Hallenbeck I chatted this afternoon with Mike Gordon for an article that'll be running in the Free Press closer to the date of his free show at Waterfront Park on Aug. 15. But with talk of a Phish reunion heating up, I thought I'd share with you now Mike's thoughts on that possibility. "We're all getting along so well Ñ I guess we always did Ñ but maybe now in particular that people have gone through their various (pause) life growth in their last few years we're healthy people coming together, and some of the baggage of having a big infrastructure is gone." "We don't know what we're going to do. We're just talking and we're just going to see where it leads. I'm so excited about my new band but I also know that if Phish starts doing stuff there will be time for my new band." "Basically it's an exciting era for me and if something happens with Phish, that's exciting, and if I have a long time to play with my new band I'm excited about that, too."
