Phish's Coventry Festival Shows to be Simulcast Live in High Definition and 5.1 Surround From Coventry, VT, from 5:30 p.m.-12:30 a.m. ET
In response to the extremely well-received simulcast of the band's June 17th concert from Coney Island, Elektra/Atlantic recording group PHISH will return to the big screen on August 14th and 15th live via satellite in high definition exclusively at Regal Entertainment Group Theatres (REG, NYSE: RGC) nationwide. Phish's 2-day festival, COVENTRY, in the band's home state of Vermont, will be presented in its entirety in two special seven hour simulcasts at select Regal Cinemas, United Artists Theatres and Edwards Theatres* beginning at 5:30 p.m. ET and concluding at 12:30 a.m. ET (2:30 p.m. PT - 9:30 p.m. PT).
In May, Phish announced they would disband after these final two Coventry performances, culminating the group's 21 years together. All 70,000 tickets for the shows at Coventry have been sold out for weeks, but now Phish fans across the country have additional options to see their favorite band one last time at these special in-theatre events presented by Regal CineMedia(SM) entertainment services.
Tickets for the COVENTRY concert simulcasts at select Regal Cinemas, United Artists Theatres and Edwards Theatres* are available for $20.00 at participating theatre box offices or online at www.regalcm.com. Tickets for each event day are being sold separately, and there is a four ticket limit per customer. More information about Coventry is available at www.phish.com.
