Phish Frontman Buys Hometown Piano May 3, 2004 - Burlington Free Press By Staff Richmond residents are enjoying the sounds of sonatas and show tunes, thanks in part to Vermont's most famous rocker. Phish frontman Trey Anastasio donated a big chunk of change to his hometown of Richmond to purchase a new piano. Residents packed the town library this weekend to hear master pianists and local novices tickle the ivories. The piano is part of the city library's expansion project.
