"Phishheads" will gather this weekend at The Gorge for two days of spacey, improvisational music and laid-back vibes that recall the Grateful Dead. Known for its jam-oriented blend of rock, blues, jazz and bluegrass, Phish performs epic three-hour shows punctuated by onstage antics featuring vacuum cleaners, giant hot dogs and chess games.

The Vermont-based band's tour features music from "Round Room," the album that followed a two-year hiatus that began in October 2000. The album opens with "Pepples and Marbles," a 10-minute jam that sets the tone for the entire CD. All concerts on the summer tour will be available for download on www.livephish.com.
