One the tri-state's hottest jam band events of the month has been postponed.
The Jazz Mandolin Project's performance on Wednesday at Jack Quinn's Emerald Ballroom, Covington, has been canceled due to complications in the birth of Jon Fishman's second child last week.
Fishman, the drummer and founder of Phish, was to make a rare appearance with the Vermont-based JMP. A spokesman said Fishman's wife had a difficult labor and the drummer felt a need to stay by her side this week.
The show has been rescheduled for January 12th at Jack Quinn's. Those with tickets may use them on that date, or refunds are available through Music Today Ticketing.
