GRAND FALLS, N.B. -- Security is being beefed up along the Maine-New Brunswick border this weekend.

Customs officials are expecting thousands of concert-goers heading to the former Loring U.S. Air Force base, not far from Grand Falls, New Brunswick.

The popular jam band Phish is playing Saturday and Sunday.

Concerts by the group at the same site several years ago drew up to 80,000 fans.

Maine State Police have issued a travel advisory for the northern part of the state into next week.

Canada Customs spokesperson Dawna Labonte says they expect an influx of returning Canadians once the festival ends.

Labonte says they'll have a full complement of staff on hand and have every border booth between Woodstock and Clair open to ease border delays
