Pulitzer Prize-winning author Alex Haley, whose Roots has done more to familiarize both readers and television viewers with the experiences of those with African-American ancestry than any other single writer, will lecture at 7:30 at Bass Concert Hall as part of UT's Distinguished Speakers series. Haley, who also wrote the award-winning The Autobiography of Malcolm X, has titled his address "Find the Good and Praise It"; admission is free for UT students and $5 for all others. On the town
