Car Load Weekend '89
October 6, 1989 - The Boston Globe
by Steve Morse

The last great outdoor bash of the season is tomorrow and Sunday at the Kingston Fairgrounds on Rt. 125, Kingston, N.H. A mixture of national and local acts should entice fans looking to combine music and leaf-peeping. Tomorrow's lineup: King Fish, Phish, Bim Skala Bim, Dumptruck and Bop Harvey. On Sunday: The Call; Farrenheit, Tribe, O Positive and Heretix. Single tickets are $15, but if you can round up friends, it's $50 per car load each day. Entertainment starts at 1 p.m. both days.
